1. Scope and Applicability

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Beanivo platform (“Platform”), operated by Beanivo (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Beanivo provides a digital directory that enables coffee producers to present their farms and coffees, and allows buyers to discover and connect with them.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

Beanivo is not a marketplace and does not facilitate or process transactions between users.

All communication, negotiations, and transactions occur directly between users.

  • Beanivo does not sell coffee
  • Beanivo does not act as an intermediary or broker
  • Beanivo does not guarantee any business outcomes

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, users may create an account. Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep login credentials confidential
  • Notify us of unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of misuse.

4. Membership and Pricing (Producers)

Coffee producers may subscribe to a paid membership to create and maintain a profile.

Membership is billed on a monthly or annual basis

Prices are clearly displayed at the time of purchase

Membership renews automatically unless cancelled.

Cancellation

Users may cancel their membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

No refunds are provided for ongoing billing periods unless required by law.

5. No Guarantee of Visibility or Commercial Success

Beanivo provides a platform for visibility and discovery. However, we do not guarantee:

Success on the platform depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.

  • Profile visibility or reach
  • Contact requests or business inquiries
  • Commercial success or sales outcomes

6. Content and Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the content they provide, including:

  • Farm information
  • Coffee details
  • Images and media
  • Certifications and claims

Users guarantee that:

  • All information is accurate and not misleading
  • They have the legal right to use all uploaded content

Beanivo does not systematically verify all content and assumes no liability for inaccuracies.

7. Quality Review and Platform Integrity

Beanivo reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove profiles and content to maintain the overall quality and integrity of the platform.

This includes cases where:

  • Information is incomplete or misleading
  • Content does not meet platform standards
  • The profile does not align with the platform’s purpose

8. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with platform functionality

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if violations occur.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content (excluding user-generated content) is owned by Beanivo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users grant Beanivo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and use submitted content for platform operation and promotion.

10. Availability of Service

We strive to ensure uninterrupted access but do not guarantee continuous availability.

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Perform maintenance
  • Update the platform at any time

11. Limitation of Liability

Beanivo shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of business, profits, or data
  • Disputes between users

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Third-Party Links and Interactions

The Platform may contain links or references to third parties.

Beanivo is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content
  • External services
  • Agreements between users

13. Data Protection

Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy , which outlines how personal data is processed.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Terms are violated
  • The platform is misused
  • Legal obligations require it

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.

Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the registered office of Beanivo.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
