Finca El Brasil / VALSA Coffee is a family-run coffee farm located in Vereda San José Alto, in southwestern Colombia, at 1,800–1,900 m.a.s.l. Founded in 1926, the farm represents a coffee legacy that has been nurtured through generations with dedication, patience and deep respect for the land.

The story of the farm is closely connected to the Vásquez family. Alfredo Vásquez learned coffee farming from his father, Casiano Vásquez, who taught him that coffee is more than a crop—it is a lifelong commitment built on honest work, love for nature and perseverance. For more than 49 years, Alfredo has continued that legacy, while also passing those same values on to his daughter, Stefanny Vásquez, who now represents the third generation of the family.

Today, father and daughter work together through VALSA Coffee with a shared mission: to bring greater recognition to the work of coffee producers and to share the true value behind Colombian origin coffee. Every lot reflects careful hand-picking, controlled processing and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Finca El Brasil grows Arabica varieties including Bourbon, Colombia and Catucaí. The farm produces washed, honey and anaerobically fermented coffees, offering traceable microlots and small lots for buyers looking for quality, authenticity and a genuine family story behind every cup.
