About The Farm

Finca Buenos Aires is located in Vereda Los Rosales in Pitalito, Huila, one of Colombia’s most renowned coffee-growing regions. Sitting at 1,650 to 2,000 meters above sea level, the farm is led by François Rodriguez and Gustavo Alberto Gonzalez Trujillo. It covers 64 hectares in total, with 14 hectares dedicated to coffee production. Its history dates back to 1960 and is deeply connected to family, resilience, migration and the search for a safe place to build a future.

One of the most distinctive features of Buenos Aires is its approximately 50-hectare forest reserve. This protected area provides shelter for local wildlife, preserves an important natural ecosystem and reflects the farm’s long-term commitment to conservation. For the producers, coffee is not only a source of income, but also a way to protect the land and support future generations.

The farm grows Arabica varieties such as Pink Bourbon, Geisha, Laurina, Sudan Rume, Wush Wush, Moka, Bourbon Sidra, Castillo and Caturra. Coffees are selectively hand-picked and processed using washed, natural, honey, semi-washed and controlled fermentation methods, including anaerobic fermentation, carbonic maceration and yeast inoculation.

Buenos Aires works with regenerative agriculture, partial shade and direct export through Zerajaim Colombia SAS.
